The Azeda beach has calm and clear waters and is accessible by a cobblestone street and a wooden staircase from the Ossos beach. A nice alternative is to take a water-taxi from Ossos beach and take a quick and pleasant ride on the way to or from Azeda.
On the right corner, a short and easy path near the rocks leads to the Azedinha beach - so tiny that it can be explored in about 40 steps.
Included among the most beautiful beaches in Brazil - surrounded by rocky cliffs and lush vegetation - Azeda and Azedinha became Environmental Protection Areas and all kiosks and bars were removed from the sand. There are only makeshift boats that serve drinks and rent chairs and umbrellas.
During the summer and on holidays the tip is to arrive early – in the afternoon the beach is very busy and it becomes hard to find a space on the small strip of sand.
