The beach runs along the entire length of Rua das Pedras and Orla Bardot and, in most parts, there is no sand. This beach houses the pier from where boats leave for tours of the beaches and islands of the region.

In addition to the fishing boats, the scenery is ornamented by Caboclo Island, which sits very close to the beach, and by three beautiful bronze sculptures honoring French actress Brigitte Bardot, the fishermen and former President Juscelino Kubitschek.

The seaside benches and decks - in addition to the bars and restaurants that spill onto the sidewalk across the street - are perfect for enjoying the sunset.
